James Clark: Wasp Slayer

I think there must be a wasp nest just outside my window I've been under siege by them for over a week now and have taken to killing everyone of them that dares to fly into my room. I made a Pile of the ones I killed yesterday. I suppose I could close my window, but wheres the sport in that?

A fellow has commissioned me to do a picture based on the film Yojimbo. Being a huge Mifune fan I got all excited and swore I'd make it the most epic picture of Mifune I've done so far. Heres what I have so far.

Che Guevara Kleenxes

I got this pack of tissues with Che Guevara's face printed on them about a year ago as payment for helping a guy move the stuff in his store to a new location. I keep the pack on my desk next to me. I dare not blow my nose because that would ruin them.

I was inspired by this blog I found to re-do an old comic book cover. I found this old golden age comic from 1941 and at once identified with it, so I decided to draw myself in the place of the cartoonist character and to replace the spy squad with some of my own artistic preoccupations (Robert Crumb, Mifune, tentacle aliens and of course leggy dames)
